Football is practiced and played in all types of weather including rain, cold weather, hot weather etc.  Cheerleaders cheer for the teams playing in these elements.  For the safety of our participants, lightening will mandate a delay or cancelation. 

If the time between seeing the flash of lightning and hearing the thunder is less than 30 seconds, take shelter. You are in a Strike Zone. 

If lightning is within five (5) miles (meaning we can see it), the game or practice will be suspended and shelter sought out. Games and/or practices may resume 30 minutes after the last lightning strike within five (5) miles.
